Just keep Running

Well last week was my first week of training for my half marathon. I think it went very well but then again my runs for week one were pretty short. All three milers and a four miler to finish out the week. I'm pretty proud of myself as I've made a huge improvement in my mile time since getting back at it just a few short weeks ago.

 My first few runs my average was between a 14 and 12 min mile. This week I finished out my 4 mile run with great numbers!

For someone who just had a baby 7 weeks ago I feel like these are great numbers! I hope to only get better over time. I couldn't have done it without the help of my running buddy who taught me that if I just slow down and pace myself I can improve my numbers and keep myself from getting burnt out. Hopefully soon I'll be able to start running with a new buddy Eryn, you can read her blog here. She's like a super mommy who does it all! Cloth diapering, Gardening, Runner, Health nut...you name it.   1. Ah, thanks for the big complements! You are too nice! Hopefully within the next couple weeks we can work out a run time. Travis is almost finished with his craziness at work and I'll have more time! :)
